Installation Guide

Set up and configure CVCShield for WooCommerce in minutes

Before You Begin

  • βœ“WordPress 5.0+ with WooCommerce 4.0+ installed
  • βœ“SSL Certificate (HTTPS) - required for payments
  • βœ“Active PayPal Business or Stripe account
  • βœ“Active CVCShield subscription with Shield credentials
1️⃣

Get Your Shield Credentials

After purchasing a plan, you'll receive your Shield URL, API Token and the CVCShield plugin (.zip) via email or from the CVCShield dashboard.

2️⃣

Download & Install Plugin

Go to WordPress Admin β†’ Plugins β†’ Add New β†’ Upload Plugin, select the CVCShield (.zip) file and activate.

3️⃣

Connect Your Shield

Go to WordPress Dashboard β†’ CVCShield plugin settings, enter your Shield URL and API Token, click Connect to verify. Then configure Invoice, Title for PayPal and Stripe.

4️⃣

Configure Project & Domain

Log into CVCShield Dashboard, create a new Project, add your Webshop and link the Shield to your domain. Then add your PayPal Client ID/Secret or Stripe API Keys.

5️⃣

Enable Payment Gateways

Go to WooCommerce β†’ Settings β†’ Payments, enable 'CVCShield PayPal' and/or 'CVCShield Stripe' to display them at checkout.

6️⃣

Verify It's Working

Visit your shop's Checkout page to confirm the configured payment methods are displaying correctly. You're all set!
